Ooops, long time no see.

Heh, I have been avoiding my blog. It bugs me. =P I need to change the whole darn look of this place... eventually. Not now, cuz I'm feeling lazy, and I'm tired... I've mainly been focasing on my DeviantART page. The place where I post my pictures and stuff, and I have a small blog thing on there too. That also isnt really updated. =P Anywho, I'll try to update this thing more often. Ou revior! (hehe, did i mention I'm taking french? XD)

XD So, I'm gonna post a simple one that I'm proud of first. Her name is Adala. I think I'm gonna give her a story, but I'm not sure yet.... =]

Muahahahahahahaaaa!

YAY! Ok, so, I have a printer that has a scanner on top. WELL, i always want to post pictures that ive drawn on here (and this site called Deviant Art, cuz i have an account on it, and i only posted lame pictures i did on the computer. and when i say lame, i mean LAME! Oh, I'll mention a sad story in the next paragraph about it. =P) and i've neeever been able to figure out the scanner. Hense, the never having posted my drawings. But my mom said she'd show me. Cant believe she knows how to use it and i dont. >.< Saaaaad.

Ok story time! SO, i was at my friends house, (ladi dadi daaa) and i wanted to show them one of my friends Deviant Art page. Unfortunately, it had been a while since i had been on Deviant Art, and i spaced her user name. SO, i naturally had to log onto my file. They didnt see my pics, but my user name. I quickly clicked onto her page, and showed them my favorites of her art.

(Lol, now, im gonna makes it sorta story form. XP Lol, Ok, so im gonna name my friends different names.. Lemme see.... Aaron, Jay, and Nate.)

"Hey Kat, was your username ____?" asked Jay.
I didn't look up from my drawing, but panic filled my mind. I kept a straight face, and continued working. "Nope," I said convincingly.
"Ahh, darn..." mumbled Jay.
Aaron continued whatever he was doing on the computer. I didnt know, i was too busy drawing. Well, not until he told Jay to come over. I looked up, and i felt a deep sense of dread. "Kat, these are pretty good," Aaron said.
"YOU LOOKED AT MY PAGE?!" I was freakin out. I'm not gonna lie. My art done on the computer is LAME! L A M E LAME! I made this account for my drawings, that are semi-ok, but i havent figure out how to use my scanner yet. But they saw my crap computer stuff. I couldn't believe it. I slammed my head against the book that happened to be in my hand.
"Hey, Kat, its ok. No big deal," Jay said comfortingly.
"It is too..." I mumbled. I sat on the couch next to Nate and started hitting my head multiple times on the book.

Alright, end of story. =P The rest of it consists of of my friends trying to convince me that it was fine. =P bleah. Liars. Im gonna get them back for that. Later... Huh, dont know why i bothered to mention Nate. =P He was to busy reading. Eh, oh well. =P

Lol, I can't wait til Thursday. Its my last day of school! Haha, thank goodness. I thought I'd never survive the school year. Ha, but its not over yet... I got VERY behind in my online schooling this year. earlier this month, I had 41 health assignments left. Now, 2 days before the due date, I have 8 health assignments, 5 English assignments, and 1 last science lab. Lol, I think I'm gonna make it. I plan to do 4 Health assignments today, and 3 English assignments today. Then I'll have all my finals on Thursday, and be rid of the evil called school for a couple months. Ahh, thank God for Summer Vacation!

Ive been working on school work from 10am-9pm every day for the past week... And yesterday, after getting no sleep, i got up at 6:30, so I could start early..... And last night, I again got no sleep, after finishing a huge amount of 17 assignments in a 6 hours... My brain... Is... Is.... Is....... Oh, right, mush. Its melted. Its burned out. >.< And I have another 9 assignments to finish before 9 tonight... I might fall asleep somewhere in between now and then... Wish me luck on finishing... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............

I've decided.....

I'm going to AT LEAST change the look of my blog. I like changing things. =) I'll change the main picture, the background stuff, you name it... I haven't decided what I'm gonna do about my postings yet. We'll see. And for my back group pictures, I'm planning on trying to draw some pictures using Gimp (kind of like paint, or photo shop) and just make a fun, abstract picture for the background. I still haven't figured out how to upload pictures I've drawn, using the scanner that's connected to my printer, so I can't really draw a pic for my back ground... But, if I really fail at using Gimp to make a nice picture, I'll just take a picture of something (maybe my cat, or my cherry tree... SOMETHING) and use that. OH DUH! *FACEPLAMS HARD* I could just take a picture of my art and post it... Oh I don't know, I'll do something in the next week or so. Stay tuned! ;-)

To all of you who read my blog, I thought I'd warn you. I'm going on vacation in July. I'll be out of the country, and it will be difficult to write on my blog. When I think, its a dangerous thing. The world could explode if I'm not careful. =P But joking aside, what is my blog really about? Its all so random, and kind of pointless. =S Should it be more? Should I post my lame written stories? Should I talk about modern day issues? Or perhaps you all wanna hear about my freaky suckerfish staring at me from his fish tank. =S I don't know.... I could try my hand at poetry again... But that just wasn't a real talent of mine.... Should I just keep things as they are, or should I try to add more structure and interesting things in my posts? Maybe change the look? Theres so much I can do... I've never been good at choosing though... What do you guys think?

Its FINALLY June!

Finally! Schools almost done, and it should be starting to warm up. Its so sunny and green outside.... I LOVE IT! =D I can sit outside, and soak in the warmthness, listen to the birds, and ignore the screaming neighbor kids. =P Though, unfortunately, it was wet on Tuesday... >=( It shouldn't rain in June. Thats just not right.

So, how was everyones' Memorial Day Weekend? Good I hope. =) My family and I went to a cabin we have on the Coast. But, again, it was still raining. -.- I just don't have any luck with the weather it seems... Aww, now its cloudy. Ugh, I hate it when this happens. >.<

Ok, anyone remember that post where I said I was working on a drawing, and all my friends wanted to see it, but it wasn't done yet? WELL, I'm DONE! Er, well, almost. Its missing a few tiny details. I wish to have my friends write their names on one of the walls in the picture. I don't know I could live without them, so I feel its important to have them included on what makes me happy. I'll talk to them tomarrow, and get them to write on it. Then, maybe, just maybe, I MIGHT post the picture. I'm not sure I want to... But I did work hard. Its full of shading, and detail, and I'm surprised I was the one who drew it! I knew I was ok at times, but I didn't realize how good I could be if I put my mind to it. =)

I need a good book...

I'm bored. I'm in need of a good book. A great book. A FANTASTIC BOOK! But I've read all the ones in my bookshelf, and unfortunately, I can't go to the library. Plus, I've read all the good ones there too. >.<

Well, since we are on the topic of good books, and I have read so many (in other words, I don't have a life), I will share my favorite books and series with you.

Alex Rider Series: Anthony Horowitz- its like a Young version of James Bond XD
Ranger's Apprentice: John Flanagan- Takes place in the middle ages, and is terrific!!!!!
Hardy Boys Series: Franklin W. Dixon- Sorry, but its a classic
Dragon Rider: Cornelia Funke- Good author, wrote many good books. Try Thief Lord and Inkheart too.
Steel Trapp: The challenge: Ridley Pearson- My God, this was a good book! I read it last year, and I'm desperately looking to see if he has made a second one... EEEEP!!!!!!! FOUND IT! The Academy... I MUST READ IT!
Dragons in our Midst Series: Bryan Davis- This person made 2 series. This was the first series, but the second one had a prequel to this series... What was it called... Ah, yes. Eye of the Oracle, I do believe.

And, a newer series, but fabulous...
I.Q. (first book, Independence Hall): By Roland Smith, also wrote Zach's Lie, and Jack's Run. The second book in the I.Q. Series comes out June.

Now, I must find that second Steel Trapp book... I HAVE TO READ IT!!!!!! I should probably get my brother hooked on the series as well....

Shoot, my ankle still hurts.... Lol, guess I should explain why it hurts at all. ^^;

Friday, I had a blast. I hung out with a lot of friends, both guys and girls. We played this game that we call Trashcan (some people call it something else, but the name escapes me at the moment...). Its this game, where everyone is holding hands in a circle, and they try to do everything possible to make somebody touch the trashcan, or break hands. If either of those things happen, the person (or persons) is/are out. ITS FUN! But like i said, its co-ed. And none of the other girls decided to play. >.< So we (as in, the guys and I) were playing, and this guy twice my size tripped and fell on my ankle. It was one direction, it popped or cracked (can't remember, it hurt too much), then it was another direction. It hurt like hell... BUT, that wouldn't stop me from playing. After I got over the pain, they wanted me to sit out. ME?! PSH! These people should know me better. I never, EVER, back down from a game of Trashcan. So, I spent the rest of my time hopping around, trying not to put pressure on my injured ankle. Then, a stupid twerp tried to trip me, so I'd touch the trashcan. WELL, I am not easily tripped. So, he kicked the back of my GOOD leg, and it didn't go anywhere, it just hurt. Stupid dweeb. Oh, and I ended up winning a couple rounds. Against people twice my size, and 5 times my strength. Yay for agility! XD

Anywho, that was Friday, now its Tuesday. I had spent the rest of Friday night icing my foot, and the majority of Saturday and Sunday doing the same thing. And its STILL swollen. I just can't get a break. Oh well. XP Totally worth it. GIRLS RULE!

Lol, okay, I must be honest. I LOVE IT when people comment on my lame posts. I get very excited and over joyed. XD SO, that being said, please, feel free to comment. Beautiful SONG!

Sorry, another song, can't help myself! We were singing it in choir, and then I found it on YouTube and ITS GORGEOUS!!!!!!! Its a romantic song, not upbeat, so I'm surprised I liked it so much (and I'd be surprised if I found anyone else who liked it), but hey, surprises is what life is made of. (PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU LIKE IT TOO! XD And, tell me what makes you like it). I love the gracefulness of the song, and how different the words are than ones commonly used today, such as "cloy" and "mien", and just how the all the words are said. They remind me of old text... Like in books that take place in the middle ages and stuff! XD Aaaand, my favorite lines in the song are "So fierce the transports are, they wound! They wound... They wound..." Haha, I like the big crescendo and the decrescendo...

Drawing

Art. My art tends to express what I'm feeling. Lately, I'm confused about the person I am. So, I drew a picture with two different sides of a room. One, this really dark and depressing side, the other, this really happy side that will eventually probably be filled with color, that is, if I ever finish the picture. I bring it everywhere, and work on it all the time. My friends keep coming up to me, and try to see what I'm drawing, but I always put it away before they can see it. Muahahahaa, they must wait until I finish.

Anyone out there like to draw? Ever draw Vent Art? If no, try it. Its a great way to express yourself, and let out any feelings that are building up, soon to explode. Oh, and check out Deviant Art. I don't know about you, but I love music. Music is my life. At school, I'm in choir. I want to be in the worship team at my youth group. I used to play the violin, I now play the piano, and I plan to learn to play the guitar. Music, like art and writing, is a perfect way to express yourself. Your pain, your sorrow, but also your joy and innocence. Music is freedom. Here are some songs I like. Look them up if you want. If you do, listen to the words. If you don't, listen intently to the music you like. Not just the lyrics, but the background voices, the different instruments, everything. Its amazing if you think about it...

Random Thoughts

Ello there. How was everyone's Easter? Good? Hope so. Its a day that should be filled with joy! ^.^ Oh, and I hope everyone's spring break was or will be fabulous. (and hopefully, it wasn't wet like mine. >.<)
Anywho...
Ok, I'll be totally honest. I. Love. Lord of the Rings. Haha, I had this huge urge to watch the series recently, and then I realized I had a slight problem... I didn't have any of the movies, and neither did any of my friends. Ugh. Lol, thank God for uncles. My uncle had the whole series, and lent them to me. I watched them during my spring break. Yay! ^.^ Good series. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Read the books to if you're up for it.

Ranger's Apperentice

YES!!!!!!!! FINALLY! Lol, my all time favorite series is called Ranger's Apprentice, written by John Flanagan, a Australian. Unfortunately, that means it takes forever for the books to come out in the States. I saw the 7Th book out in stores a few weeks ago, but didn't have enough money. I came home, and forgot about it when I could go online and buy it, and remembering at school. Finally, I ordered it on Amazon, making my wait longer, but the cost less, and I finally got the book yesterday. If there is anybody out there who likes fantasy books, Lord of the Rings, Strongbow Saga, or something along these lines, PLEASE READ THIS SERIES! Its got to be the best series out there.

Happy Spring

Ello there. Yay, its spring, and what a beautiful day it is. Well, at least where I am. Everywhere I look, there's either a flood of pink treees, or extremely happy evergreens. There are croakases and tulips popping up everywhere. Simply beautiful. I just can't wait until more flowers pop up, and the birds come back. I might bother going outside every once and a while when that happens. ;-) The air smells so fresh and clean... Only problem is, its wet. Haha, oh well, more rainbows. Spring has got to be the most beautiful time of the year. =)

(Oh, in case anyone was wondering, I never did get any of that snow I wanted. >.< )

President Day Weekend

Ha ha, I haven't written anything in a month. Long time... Anywho, hope everyone enjoyed their President's Day and Valentines Day. I know I did.

I spent my weekend in Colorado Springs. I have a cousin there, and two friends who moved there years ago, so I went to visit. One word. FREEZING! Ha ha, and my friends kept insisting that it wasn't that cold. (14 degrees? Yes, its cold!) Ha ha, but that's just what I did. Oh, if anybody ever happens to go there, check out Garden of the Gods. Beautiful. I was too focused on how cold it was, but it was still absolutely beautiful. I'll try to post some pictures once I upload the contents of my camera on this computer.

Edit: Ah, there we go. Beautiful, isn't it? And not a bad picture either. Lol, for the record, my mom took it, not me, but she said I could use it.

Where's the snow?

Alright, so its after winter break, and we havnt had one single snow day (or much snow for that matter). WHERES THE FUN IN THAT?! I mean, come on. Us Washintonians need a little snow. Cuz winter isnt winter until it snows. Thats just how the story goes. Sigh... Oh well. Fingers crossed that January will be the lucky month and Ill get my snow!
