In need of Snow
Alright, its December, its been under 20 degrees in WESTERN WASHINGTON (in all the years I've lived here, I don't think its ever been so cold!) for 'bout a week (A WEEK!!!!!!), and we only had snow for one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THAT! ITS TOO COLD NOT TO HAVE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .... Now, its warming up, and we finally have the moisture for snow, but since its warmer, we have rain.... I have a bone to pick with this so called "Mother Nature" (whom in truth, I dont believe in at all)... She and I are gonna have a nice long chat about what she can do with the weather, and what she can't....

Watching Sadness
I wish I could help the people I see at school. They are so depressed. They act like they have nothing to live for. No love. No hope... But there is always hope. Always love... Especially love... You just have to know where to look.
"These three remain. Faith, Hope, and Love. But the greatest of these is love." - 1 Corinthians 13: 13

My Writing
Eh, I normally don't talk much about my writing, but I might as well. I've mentioned how I love to write, so, I guess its only fair.
I normally write about this 17 year old girl named Kira Brown (really, depending the story, her age varies...) who was orphaned at age 10. Her parents were famous scientists, specializing in botany. Her parents died in a "car crash" (or so the story says *mysterious smile*) The people left in her family didn't want to take her in, nor did any family friends, and I haven't thought up a good reason why yet... (it might have something to do with the fact that she has a photographic memory but I'm not sure...) =/ But anyway, she was sent to an orphanage, which she ran away from as soon as she got there. Shes been off on her own since, helping old friends, making new ones.
... Wow... I make it sound really lame don't I? Ah, well, not much I can do without telling the whole story (which i wont be doing anytime soon).
Anyway, besides that, I normally write adventure stories, which sometimes include mystery, sci-fi, or fantasy. I have been starting to write realistic fiction for teens who might be going through the same crap I'm going through at school and in my social life (if you can even call it that anymore).
If I ever put any of my stories on this site, look up the names. Each of the first names will have a meaning. Take Ashlyn for example. It means Dream. I use that for the stories about girls who have hope, despite all odds...

Being Who I Am...
Everybody has their heritage. Mine is pretty diverse... I'm French Canadian and Dutch (and of course, American) on my Mom's side and... something else on my Dad's side... I get bullied like mad at school for my Dad's heritage... But you know what? I'm proud of it. My dad happens to be Arab. So what? He isn't a terrorist. I wear a bracelet everyday, that one of my uncles gave me, to remind me that I do not have to be ashamed of who I am. I love me and my heritage. And if anybody has a problem with that, they can just deal with it. Cuz I'm not gonna stand there and take it any more.
My Cat
I'm bored, so I'm gonna rant about my cat. ^.^ (She is glaring at me right now.) I have a black domestic short hair, who is 20 years old (and for those of you who don't know, that's freakishly old for a cat. They normally live to about 12), and named Doode (and yes, we spell it that way. Really its Charlot, but nobody calls her that but my grandma. I think she prefers this name anyway). All she does is eat, sleep, and poop. Hahaha. She'll sleep on the couch, then she'll walk to the kitchen and eat, then she'll walk to the other couch and sleep again, then walk to my moms bed and drink the water on her night stand, then she'll sleep on the bed, and then she'll go back to the first couch and repeats this. Every day, that's all she does. Hahaha. I just love her. And you should hear her purr! God, she's as loud as a lawn mower. Silly cat. ;) =)

Blah blah blah blah blaaaah....
Nnnnn.... School is totally craziness. GAAH! The public school I go to, is totally huge!!!!!! Too many people! Its 200 people over its capacity! Luckily, I'm also going to an online school now so I don't have to deal with the crowds that much anymore.
Ooooh! I LOVE MY IPOD!!!!!!!! Hahaha. My favorite band is Casting Crowns. Its a Christian band, but its the best! The music... It just reflects how hard it is to be a teenager. (Later, i found out that it calls to teenagers because the band people are youth pastors. Figures.) It just makes me feel so much better. I use it to vent. Everyone should have some sort of venting music.
My favorite songs from that band are:
Praise You in This Storm
East to West
Voice of Truth
They are just amazing... They are all about how no matter what the world says, you are special. You are amazing. And no matter what, you are loved.
